More About Germaine

Germaine Swanson is an ADHD and Life Coach who has been living with ADHD personally and working with special needs kids and their families professionally. 

As a coach, Germaine empowers women who are living with ADHD themselves or in their family. Germaine is a former special needs teacher, a certified professional coach, a woman who has ADHD, and a mother who has raised four  children. Three have special needs, two of them have ADHD. 

In addition to her coaching certification, she has an M.A. in Special Education from Columbia University Teachers College and post-graduate training in leading and facilitating parent education groups from Wheelock College. 

She taught multi-impaired, visually impaired children and worked as a Family Partner/ Family Support and Trainer, helping families with special needs children to navigate the various support systems, child development and positive parenting skills. She empowered parents to use their "voice and choice"; when working with various service providers. As a coach, she empowers women to access their “voice and choice” as they navigate their world.
